Coming Soon...

Yes that's right... this blog is COMING SOON.

The blog of Exeter's READ & RETURN Bookshop. Which I'm taking ownership of July 1st.

The blog won't look like this for long. This is just a holding spot.

But for the immediate future, the blog will be our web page. Contact details, etc, and a place to tell you about some of the quirks of life amidst 2nd hands books.

How does it work?

Buy a book. Read it. It's yours, do with it as you will. But if you want to bring it back - you don't HAVE to - we'll give you half what you paid against another purchase or as a credit note to use in the future (no cash handouts, sorry).

We're an old fashioned bookshop. We still believe in browsing. We don't have a catalogue, so you're going to have to dig... but then, that's half the fun. The thrill of the chase!

If the smell of books is like an aphrodisiac to you; if you like to breathe in air that's thick with dreams; if you like to feel the weight of history in your hands; if the sound of pages turning is like music to your ears... then we're the place for you.
